Artistic & Professional Approach
My work is rooted in long-term field presence, proximity to subjects, and ethical storytelling. I focus on real people and real contexts, often working in sensitive environments that require trust, discretion, and adaptability.
I am comfortable working with small, agile crews as well as coordinating larger teams when needed. I position myself as a director who understands both artistic intention and production constraints.

Heroes from the Shadows

Heroes from the Shadows is a social photography initiative developed in Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro, focused on education, empowerment, and visual storytelling. Through the creation of a local photography studio, children and young people were trained to use photography as a tool to document their reality and express their perspectives.

The project collaboratively documented the daily lives of mothers who often assume the role of both parents, highlighting resilience, dignity, and strength in everyday life. Exhibited internationally, the project increased visibility for participants and strengthened confidence and agency. Today, the studio remains active under local leadership, continuing its educational and creative mission.

Monks Life

Tomasini Production is a filmmaking and photography studio specializing in aerial imagery. Using drone flight as a creative tool, the studio reveals scale, movement, and perspectives inaccessible from the ground. The work combines technical precision with a strong documentary and cinematic approach, consistently seeking emotion, meaning, and human presence within the landscape.

Olivier, Life Lesson - Youth award festival off visa, France

Tigbota-Agué is a rural community of the Wouêmenou people, located in the savanna and largely isolated from urban infrastructure, with limited access to clean water and electricity. The project documents a way of life rooted in tradition, while exploring the tensions faced by younger generations, for whom access to education and the appeal of urban life can be both an opportunity and a source of uncertainty.

The work represents the first extended photographic documentation produced from within the village, including immersion within a local family. It was later awarded the VISA Off Discovery Award at the Visa pour l’Image International Photojournalism Festival in France.

Drone Pilote

Drone shots are used to reveal scale, movement, and perspectives inaccessible from the ground, combining technical precision with a strong documentary and cinematic approach that highlights emotion, meaning, and human presence within the landscape.
